So, I foolishly thought I would be blogging every morning on the previous days adventures while on vacation in Maine... |
So when I shared my plan with friends and family, they all looked at me like I had 2 heads! |
"Really?" and "We'll see..." were the kinds of responses I heard. "But I did it last year," I thought to myself. |
By now, you must be laughing, right? |
Well, I blogged one day... |
And then started a post the next morning! |
Not a bad start... |
But then I hit a wall. |
A "tired from work and driving 12 hours and vacationing with a 3 year old, a house full of people, kids and dogs..." kind of wall. Do you know what I'm talking about? |
So, I put my camera down and closed the computer... |
And just tried to enjoy the days... |
away from work... |
away from our house... |
and away from our usual routine. |
To enjoy the days with no particular plan... |
and no particular goals... |
except to laugh... |
and smile... |
and forget about the real world for a little while. |
Which isn't very hard to do when you get to vacation in Maine every summer. |
Because life just seems to slow down a bit up here... |
And makes you really appreciate just spending time with somebody special... |
not doing anything in particular... |
P. S. I'm just a point and shoot camera girl, linking up to Ni Hao Ya'll just for fun--those of you who link up, know what I'm talking about. Happy Sunday Snapshot!
