Sunday Snapshot {My Girl}

Wow...another break in the weather!  

I know my girl would probably rather be sledding, but this mild winter weather is doing wonders for her Mama! 

We are getting in a lot of outdoor play time and a lot of walks.  And tomorrow?  Another sunny warm day to spend outdoors playing with my girl.  

I am one lucky Mama!

Seriously...we just haven't had the snowfall this year like in years past.  

Which is fine with this mama and baba, because the more we get our girl outside, running, jumping, and sliding, the better off we all are!  

And the better we all sleep!

A Valentine's Tea Party

We had a very important tea party coming up...

We had to practice...

Mommy had to toil away at a project...

Done!

We were ready for the big Tea Party...

Hmmm...what am I supposed to do again?

She actually likes the tea...

She drank 2 whole cups...

And ate A LOT of Chocolate!!

Chocolate {Sunday Snapshot}

Opening a Hershey's Kiss!

We don't hand out a lot of chocolate, but we do keep Hershey's Kisses around because 

A.) Cadie does like chocolate once in a while;

B.) She has to really work to get that piece of chocolate out of the wrapper;

AND

C.) It forces her to figure out how to use her left hand.  

Unfortunately for us, she's getting really good at it.  And what once took her several minutes to open, now just takes several seconds.  And before we know it, she's doing the happy chocolate dance and asking for another piece! 

To My Dear Sister...

 

No, it's not her birthday, and Mother's Day isn't until May, but I just had to make this special video for a very special mom, who cheers on every other mom, and who we sometimes forget needs a little cheering on herself.  So, to my sister Pam, consider this a standing ovation, a cheer from the stands "Go Pam!" and the biggest stadium wave, from your biggest fan...your little sister.  I love you, Kiki

New Year in Chinatown…

This past Sunday we ventured into Chinatown, Philadelphia with some friends for the New Year festivities.  What an experience we had!  It started with a fantastic lunch of hand drawn noodles, followed by a lot of walking, shopping, and celebrating.  Cadie is still talking about the "fireqwackers...pop,pop,pop" and asking to go back to Chinatown!  Thanks to our friends Lisa and Dean for inviting us and sharing another great family adventure.
